UNILAG Lecturer Blamed For Assaulting 20-year-old-female Understudy In His Office.
The casualty blamed Dr. Babalola, an Associate Professor of Botany, of executing the wrongdoing when she visited his office to figure out issues relating to her outcomes.
Dr. Kadiri Akeem, a teacher at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has been blamed for having unlawful coitus with of a 20-year-old-female undergrad.
The person in question, who detailed the case to an NGO, the Inclusive Social Welfare and Empowerment Foundation, said that Babalola assaulted her on August 16, 2023.
The NGO detailed the case to the Gender Unit of the State Police Command.
Through the OC Gender, the Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa, gave a warrant of capture for Babalola through the state High Court.
The Vice Chancellor of the institution was given seven days to create Babalola.
At the point when the VC welcomed the teacher for addressing, he conceded to carrying out the wrongdoing.
The VC informed the police through the Main Security Official of the school and Babalola was captured.
Representative of the State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who affirmed the occurrence said that the suspect has been captured.
"He is to show up in court before long," the PPRO added.
