Nigerian Man Charged In The US Of Murdering His Wife
Hassan Adeyemo, a Nigerian man, has been detained and accused of fatally shooting his wife Sarah in their Florida residence.
Adeyemo was detained in the Orange County jail in Florida after being apprehended at the scene of the shooting on Saturday night, according to a statement from the Orange County Sheriff's Office (OCSC) on Wednesday.
According to the statement, Adeyemo's wife, Sarah Nanchin Adeyemo, and he were reportedly having a domestic quarrel when Adeyemo pulled out his gun and fatally shot the woman.
Adeyemo was detained and charged with murder after being found at the scene of the crime.
Around 7:22 on Saturday night, OCSO deputies arrived at a house in the 6600 block of Taxiway Circle due to a shooting.
"Deputies discovered a woman who had been shot. She was identified as Sarah Nanchin Hassan Adeyemo, 43. She was taken to a local hospital, where she subsequently passed away.
"Hassan Teddy Adeyemo, her 46-year-old husband, was taken into custody on the spot and charged with first-degree murder with a firearm.
"He was arrested on Sunday and is being held in the Orange County jail without posting a bond.
No more information regarding the shooting's circumstances has been made public, the statement continued.
